I'm leaning toward the Aeromotive because it seems to be a little cheaper, but I'm after quality more than anything. I just need something with adjustability and a 1:1 boost reference.
thanks,

I love my SX. Never had any problems with it. Only thing is that you cant get them with -6AN, they only come with the -10. But thats no big deal.
They look to be the same exact regulator though. Im sure either way you will be happy!

Of course!!
If anyone is interested in a complete breakdown of parts needed for complete stainless fuel lines and fittings running to and fro the tank, I have what you need!

(1) 178009 -- 9/16" stratoseal (2 comes in the package, only 1 is needed)
(26-30) z300006 -- -6 auto-flex hose
(1) 592406 --Bulkhead nut -6an (fuel return mod at tank)
(1) 983306 --Bulkhead fitting (fuel return mod at tank)
(3) 800103 -- -6an straight swivel seal fitting
(4) 804606 -- -6an 45 degree swivel seal fitting
(1) 809106 -- -6an 90 degree swivel seal fitting
(2) 991914 -- -6 to -10 union (used 2 for aeromotive fuel filter)
(1) 849091 -- 90 degree -6 to 12mmX1.25 swivel seal (fuel tank fitting)
This list may be a little different for everyone. Missing is (2) pipe to -6an for aftermaket fuel rail.
Just visualize and draw everything down on paper. A diagram worked well for me.

Ah, you did 6an from tank on up and upgraded the return too, i was under the impression you just changed everything from the firewall up. how bad was it to change all the fuel lines in the car? btw, what are those part numbers from?

Yeah, did the whole fuel system from the tank. It was a pain in the *** running the lines under the car--i pulled all the factory hard lines out. Other than that, it wasnt too bad at all. The whole job took me about 8 hours with the car jacked up about 12" and what took the longest was having to cut the ss line with a hacksaw and assembling them without a vice!
Anyway, the best place (and cheapest) to buy Earls products is www.amstreetrod.com. These guys are awesome and thats all they do is specialize in these products, so you know they are the best.

anyone here substituted hard piping for braided line?
Also, has anyone converted the OEM feed lines to return lines?

I have used both the SX and Aeromotive FPR on my own personal car. You can't go wrong with either!

93LSivic you are my hero! My friend did SS line in his integra and its a sweet upgrade!!
Question:
I though I saw somewhere that you had to braze or weld the bulkhead fittings that go into the fuel pump housing?
You got any more pics? I remeber someone had the whole process, in pictures!
Thanks!

i would go with the aeromotive... They're the one's making them for everyone else anyway. the paxton for example and I believe the SX is also made by aeromotive.

I dont know but too me,this set-up looks like a fire waiting to happen, having the Regulator bolted to Shock tower with a braided line connected to the rail, too much back and forth movement from engine is placed on that line.i would think it would be safer with Regulator connected directly to rail with pipe fitting then you would not have used extra hose and 2 extra AN Hose ends
if u use a stainless line to somewhere else how it shows in thie picture... it allows the motor ato move and not the regulator hanging on the end of the fuel rail...

actually its quite the opposite... if anything the regulator on the fuel rail will be more likely to cause a fire... with it hanging there and the motor moving it may crack off... which wouldnt be a good thing...

SX stuff sucks........there pump cost us a motor last season..........it just stopped pumping for no reason........you could then shake it and hear parts rattling around inside.......plus the little Steel ball in there regulators, eats the alluminum until the Hole inside is all Oblonged......then your pressure fluctuates.........
Just my 2 cents.......Areomotive all the way.......
