Default Water wetter questions again.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=167681

Doesn't seem from this topic that there was really a "set answer"

It seems this would be the best answer below but I'm not sure that's why I'm asking the question again..

-10% Honda Antifreeze - for corrorion prevention, and to keep the water pump a little lubricated.
-90% Publix Distilled Water - water transfers heat much better than antifreeze. Distilled water keeps you from getting mineral deposits in your radiator which reduced efficiency.
-One bottle Redline Water Wetter - Improves cooling efficiency even further.

thats what i am using now and it is working better than just 50/50 water/antifreeze mix in this 90+ heat i deal with every day in the southeast

I put a mix of WaterWetter on my Mazda 323 and busted the top of the radiator.. Did the same thing on my LS and busted the radiator again. Benefits are really not worth risking my radiator but maybe you have better luck.

That sounds like a good mix. I'm thinking about doing the same after I flush the coolant this week

water wetter is just a surfactant, significantly drops the ammount of surface tension between the walls of the coolant system, and the coolant. ie, increases the heat transfer coefficient, ie, makes your heat exchanger work better.

also has some anti-corrsion additives, and i believe something else, but i forget.

I read the back of the bottle when I picked some up today. They recommend use at least 15% coolant for street vehicles. So that's what I'll do

Actually, I believe the best combination is one bottle of water wetter and the rest water (distilled) if you are looking for the best heat transfer, street car or not. Just realize that you should be changing this combination semi-frequently (every 3 months?) and that if the weather ever drops below 50 or so degrees you need to start adding antifreeze again. In the winter 50/50 works fine.
