i hate you, but you already know that...
so when can i drop off my car?
i wish i could do work like that, but i don't know how to weld, or paint.. but i can turn wrenches. so one day, hopefully soon, i'll be able to strip mine down myself, and then i'll have to take it to someone..

lovely seats... where did you source those from?
wouldn't it have been slightly easier to source a better conditioned chassis from california to give yourself a little head start?
Do you have reference for inspection marks?

trust me i thought about it. its easier said than done to find a clean chassis. and u
never know what your getting. atleast i knew i had a rusted POS
. now that the rust repair is over i don't regret it one bit. i learned a whole lot about body work and how the cars body is built. i bought the seats from vintage parts in wisconsin. being i work for a honda dealer i have access to vintage parts.inspection marks???
couple shots before the resto. all the trim will be black like originally when its finished.

btw it was over 500whp in these pics with a 10pt cage...
and my wife and son who have put up with me and my cars for years. they love this car too.

this reminds of that resto in the 2nd gen crx section.
you even sandblasted the chassis???
if you dont mind me asking, whos doing that body work?
possibly a place you would reccomend? (im looking for a new york body shop that respects imports and does good work)
great build man, thanks for sharing.

thank u. i did all of the sheet metal and welding. except the bulkhead. i painted the interior myself with single stage. it was my first time with a gun and i was very happy with the results. my buddy will be doing the exterior body work and he painted the engine bay/bulkhead. he does awesome work.
i really don't know of any shops that do work like this. i mean its hard to find someone that will put as much passion and effort into a car that is not theirs.

we're gonna have a diversion going forward... this is really a street rod type resto not OEM stock resortation. niether is better or more important, but we can not rule out the completely stock restoration
other than the seats the entire car will appear stock. until u get a look under the hood and suspension. i just have to have an engine with power. and what better than an itr internal b18c
