Default '07 Civic EX Coupe front/rear suspension issues.

When pulling into my driveway or just hitting a little bump in general (like the flattened curb at the end of a driveway) i hear a knock coming from my front end when teh suspension is engaging. it's sounding like blown struts sound.. This does not happen often.. probably about 10% of the time a bump is hit.. The drivers front is worse than the passenger front. This happens in different temperatures (im in southern ontario so between 5-30 degrees celcius since i've gotten it).

It seems to be most prodominant when i take it at a moderate speed as opposed to slow. i'll stomp on the brakes a bit then ease off (now by stomp i dont mean wrecklessly, but i got **** to do right)

when engaging speedbumps, i'll ride on those things all day, take them crazy slow of course. and when my rear struts ease off of the bump, they creek. it sounds like bad quality personally. I have heard shitty cavalier struts do this, also a neon i've heard this as well. But with Honda i think not the case (maybe a defect?)

so whats the deal boys and girls ? Any input? Am i due for a talking with the dealership?

you could try tightening the strut mount bolts (top), they have to be retightened if they've even been changed. I snugged mine and it made a significant difference.

i know exactly what you're talking about. it only happens on my drivers front though. it never bothered me, but i should try doing what they suggested.
