Garage, mean *** dog, and 40. cal S&W. I know everyone doesn't have a garage but the other two should come in handy. Or if your like me, garage, 40. cal S&W and mean *** attack cat. It really sucks but i don't even take my car out to dinner, movies, mall, or any where that my car will be parked for any amount of time.

I don't know the name, but don't they have some GPS thing for the car that tracks movement? I think you pay for the unit, then a monthly subscription or something.
How 'bout a plastic explosive mounted in/on/around the block. I can't detonate with heat, only an electrical discharge. The get a remote detenator with one hell of a powerful signal. With a bit of luck by the time it is hovering over a hatch-crap you can activate the bomb and give the thieves the anus.

am i the only one who thinks its a little silly to list security measures online? at least here in a public forum? why dont we just hand amateur theives our damn keys......
these are just measures to slow down or throw off a theif, its not like were posting exactly what our security measures are.
someone might actually get an idea that may work for them, a theif will get a car if hes good enough no matter what.

I remember someone installing a spark plug in the gas tank with a switch to arm/disarm it. Bye bye thief, but bye bye car too.
Little annoying stuff like black pins with the needle pointing upward placed in the seats.

RS door handles. Getting inside an Integra by prying open the window part near the a pillar is easy. All you need is a very small gap for a steel wire hook to get in.

Dood, if I were your dog, I'd bite you for flashing the camera right in my eye...
Rig up a device that when your car door is opened millions of bullets will come flying out towards the unsuspecting theif.
It will need to be enabled/disabled by remote so you can open your car when needed.
edit: I can't spell.

Get a capacitor for car audio applications and wire one side of it to your shift **** and the other to a little antenna sticking out of your shift boot. This way when the thief grabs the shifter and makes contact with the metal...holy S he will get a shock. Probably stop him for quite a while.

Anyone have a write up on the fuel cut off switch?
I want to do it myself so everything is done exactly how I want it and no one knows where it is

Put a thick chain around front rim and front or rear rim of another vehicle, such as family car, beater, or even neighbors car as long as you both have keys. This worked really well when I went to Great Adventure. If they want it they need to bring a rim that'll fit the ITR. That's if you don't ride with spare such as myself.
P.S. And if both vehicles have lug locks.

How many of the suggestions so far will stop a tow truck? None. You'll discourage joyriders but don't be suprised if they trash your interior when they can't find your kill switch. Real car thieves know more about your car and your alarm system than you and the installer combined. The only real way to keep it from being stolen is only parking it in a locked garage.
Ok if you own the property and don't mind doing some manual labor. Install a pop-up poll behind your car and chain it ( thru the wheels) up to the pole. this would be good for cars kept ouside also for cars in the garage. And if your real crafty add a motion dector to the pole mounted in the bottom area so it can't be messed with
I rent my garage and the landlord would never approve a pop-up pole...
