Blk/Blk '01 Acura Integra GS-R 4-Sale --- Practically Brand new
Nighthawk Black pearl/blk GSR. 8500 miles as of 5.29.02. This car has only seen rain on a few occasions (it rains almost every day here in Seattle) otherwise it has been garaged at work and at home. Brake in procedure followed in all detail including leaving break in oil under guidelines. Oil checked at every fill up of gas and refilled with HONDA 5W-30 if needed. Zainoed since day one and cleaned after each drive with Z-6. This is one cared for GSR.
Only mods are ITR shocks/springs/rear lower arms. Otherwise COMPLETELY stock down to air filter. Oh, it has the STONGARD FULL kit (which covers the entire bumper and 1/4 of the hood, side mirrors, door cups, door edges, on which costs over $600.
Serious inquires only, please. If serious buyers would like pics, let me know and I can email them to you. Car is located in Seattle. Save on the initial depreciation which I have taken the hit on.
$18900

Thought I would throw in the tag line for Honda.

including leaving break in oil under guidelines
When I got my GSR four years ago, that is what the salesman said, about having to leave this so called break in oil for 7.5k miles.
I don't believe in leaving in any type of oil in for more then 5000 miles so I had it changed at 3600.
The moly additive in the break in oil has been confirmed by Honda engineers so don't change your oil before the recommended intervral, depending on which schedule you follow, severe or normal .

Don't believe anything you read from Motor Trend or those other so called 'enthusiast's' magazines. Those fashion over function, mindless cheerleading editors are clueless when it comes to engineering.
Here is another one by Road and Track.

My 4 sale item has turned into a oil debate.
I believe this topic was discussed in great depth on S2ki.com.
Nothing frustrates me more then when some magazine tells their readers a bogus, blanket statement WITHOUT stating any definitive, factual, or credibile source to base it on other then 'because we said so, therefore its gold' mentality.
I did find this on the FAQ of S2ki.com if it helps at all (not a Honda engineer but I would have to find that thread):
"Do not change the original (factory) oil until Honda recommends. Honda has a special additive in the oil that does not require a change until 3,750 miles. This additive aids in the break in process, so changing it early would actually hinder proper break in. The F20c (engine code for the S2k) is built with similar parts to the Integra Type R motor, which dyno's have shown to get stronger up until about 5,000 miles. Expect the same results from your engine. Although the 1000 mile change would be proper for a rebuilt engine, in this case it would not be true. Your engine was brand new from the factory, so no "crap" would be there to get dislodged, unlike in a rebuilt motor. Your engine should still be in great shape, with no problems, and I would mention nothing to your service manager on your particular driving style. Save your oil change for the 3750k mile mark. "

I would like to add that awhile ago it was confirmed in the ITR forum that the break in oil is not just normal oil...It's normal oil with additives.
Zaino is a wax/polish line... not whatever oil additive you're thinking of.
I was thinking the same thing. Damn, better stop using the z-7 (car wash) in my oil.
Here are some pics. If anybody would like the rest, I can email them to a interested buyer.
BEWARE! THESE PICS ARE RATHER LARGE.
Thanks everyone!

Ok, Blue Book is $20,100 and considering I have a ITR suspension and STONGARD, 18,9 is an excellent price, no?
The steering wheel leather wrap...did it come with the car or did you buy it seperately from the dealer? If so, how much?
