my car went 12.037 tonight with about 12 psi tire pressure

BFG 215/60/14

2.0X sixty foot. I really need gear based boost! I definitely think the last pass would have been a 11.9 or so but I couldnt run again. I had to pedal the car in 2nd but was still falling way out of power into 3rd gear. Little more practice would be good.

1st pass-13.2@120
2nd pass- 12.55@127
3rd pass- 12.22@125
4th pass-12.03@127

i dont know if that is the same size tire i had back in 00 but i belive it is... i cut 1.8 60ft with no traction bars @ 12 psi tire pressure. ya have to get the tires super hot to make them worth a damn though. i got a shiton of milage/street racing on those.

I just picked up a set of 215/60/14 BFGs, was supposed to test them out today but the track got rained out.

I like the fact that this size has a 5" sidewall, and i don't know for sure yet but i'm hoping that the extra sidewall will have less deflection than the other lower profile BFGs ive ran in the past when launching hard.

my 12.22 pass

you can see the car fall all the way out of power from 2-3 lol. The next pass was 12.03@127

I want to change the limiter from ign. cut to fuel cut as well. I dont like the popping.

I am borrowing some 215/60-14s from my buddy and I think they are a lil big. Atleast for street racing cuz they rub a lil. I def.had to much air last night.

I have a turbo d15b on 8psi. We ran 20psi in the tires and the hooked up like ****. Felt faster on street tires. might go toaround 12 psi and try a longer burnout and see what happens. My ebrake sucks so i mightjust have to bring a gallon ofwater.

They are 24" tall so at sub 200whp, its probably gonna really feel slow. I havn't dyno'd the new setup but at 25psi on race gas tune the 215/60/14s grip decent for street duty.

You probably wont build any boost off the line then

I wasnt using any kind of 2 step or antilag on these passes. We are gonna set all of that up in the next few weeks.

Changing the rev-limiter from ignition to fuel cut should be independent of how the antilag works... I think.

Depending on what system you are using, but you should be able to build at least 5psi off the line.
