will the dealership cover syncos?
Well my syncros need to be replaced, my current mods are:
ATS final
Exedy Clutch
Toda flywheel
Mugen Header and twin loop
carsound cat
drop in filter
If they don't notice the final drive do you think they will cover it under warrenty???

I hope they don't notice your aftermarket clutch, flywheel and ATS final drive. If so, I think they're gonna give you a hard time. I hope I'm wrong. Your argument would be the synchros are worn out prematurely, and they should not, regardless of your mods. They are supposed to prove that your "mods" did the damage/wear tear on synchros. I've heard many 1999-2000 Civic Si owners complain of sychro problems. Good luck.
oh synchro is how you spell it (my bad). Anyway my stomich dropped after reading that post. I estimate $2500 worth of repairs if not covered. Damnit!! The exedy clutch LOOKS kinda stock, I hope they don't notice. Anyone else??

i doubt their going to cover it. a good technician can spot your aftermarket stuff easy and void your warranty. btw what did you do to ruin all your synchro's?
i dont think it'll be a total warranty void, but getting that ATS final, Exedy Clutch and Toda flywheel past the service writer isnt going to be easy. And if you do, the tech will most likey spot it

well they know about the flywheel, as for the clutch nope and the final is barely noticable (unless you take it out and look at the RPM for the speed). They would have to count the teeth on it. its the least of my concerns.

Any tech working more than 3 months will notice that the transmission has work.
So under normal circumstances, yes, I would imagine that the dealer would cover the parts and repairs. Under this curcumstance, no, you have a fairly modified transmission and one could reasonably make the argument that the modifications led to the parts failure/issues.
You asked, Im giving my opionion, thats all.

flywheel they may chew you on, clutch i dont think will matter to them.
your final drive however is going to kill you incase they do count.
otherwise, why not try.

I highly doubt they will cover it. Like someone mentioned, a trianed tech will noticed you tranny has been worked on, and will look for the parts. The sad thing is, those parts prob didnt have anything to do with causing the problems in the tranny. Good luck
NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I'll kill the guys who installed this stuff wrong
nope everything started going wrong once the ATS final, clutch, and flywheel was installed. Trust me the car was fine before this. I had to take it back to the people about 5 times for "adjustments." This is bullshit
