Looks a little tight to me. I like there to be room to put my arm between the cage and the car.

The bends in the forward and rear supports are not ideal, but it depends on what the car is used for. The quality is very good.

Quick question, in a previous photo I saw that you had the HTP tig. Do you still have that? How do you like it?

TIA

Looks very good. Some of your TIG welds, where you have joined pipe to pipe look like they have some undercut though. I cant quite tell, but that is the way it looks. I would suggest put one more pass on those. Your pipefitting looks very good too. Just curious, what type of material did you use?

I feel its sufficient but maybe next time I'll add more rod for the hell of it. Its all 4130.

I used my HTP exclusively for the past hmmm... how long is it... almost 5 years... lol https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=211721 I recently purchased a miller dynasty 300dx. I still use my HTP machine, not as much though; it's a backup/ shop-***** welder now simply because of my new 1. I love the machine though. Consistent machine, never had a problem with it. I'd reccomend it to anyone looking for a 200amp machine. And at the price... nothing else touches it. I personally also have one of their MIG machines as well as a plasma cutter and both work flawlessly without a hickup. One reason for the new machine was simply power... HTP doesnt offer anything over 200a.

Looks great Tom! Question...where do you get them, and what does it cost for the chassis tags you have on the door bar on the drivers side? Ive been wanting to get some done up, but wasnt sure what to search for or where to get them. I kept finding plaques and stuff for trophies...
Thanks in advance!

They do look pretty good. I'd have to agree on the undercut though. I'd definetly add some more filler. I'd prefer to have a bead with a runout that is at least the thickness of the tubing.

Does the owner plan on removing the Rear window plastics or roof liner ever? Looks like they may be hard to remove without some cutting of the plastic/liner
