Default 2005 Honda civic Grille

I've been looking for a grille for my car for the longest..... I dont want that sliver crap... i want the they have for the 01-03 models( black one).... I seen it once on ebay straight from japan for the 04 and 05 civics but it was gon in seconds... I don't really want to get the 01 - 03 grilles b/c i dont want to do any custom work... but if worse comes to worse ill do it.... if i do is it hard...? and does anyone know if they can still find the 04- 05 grille.....

you can look at grille tech.com they have some grilles for an 05 civic, the only thing is that they are zip tied on, i have them and i like them you cant see the zip ties at all. check it out. and if you want to buy them dont buy it from there web site, goto ebay and buy it for alot cheaper same people and same part.

This has been asked before. The grilles are not compatible between the two model generations. It has been tried, but never successful.

some people have modified the 01-03 grilles on the 04-05 models. I believe boost junkie has one on, you should pm him but other than that you have to make your own grille which is very easy to do. I did it myself in 15 min.

There's a FAQ posted at the top of the forum. Check there for your reasoning to how long it takes you to be a non-trial member.

I'm not sure if that is a genuine grille either, looks like a custom made one... and that picture of that civic is the same car from domain in which i followed the same diy

I'd rather go for a more clean look.... and i really do not want to spend 140 for a grille from grillecraft b/c that is crazy..... ive seen 04- 05 wil grilles but no one wants to share the wealth
