Default DIY: Strutking Dead Pedal Install

Ok folks, this has to be the easiest mod to this car!

Step 1: Go to http://www.strutking.com or ebay and purchase the pedal
Step 2: Pay for goods and wait for them to arrive.
Step 3: Go outside to your car.
Step 4: Get some tools, the only thing I used was a philips screwdriver, the drill was not necessary as the plastic is easy to screw into.
Step 5: Put dead pedal cover over stock pedal.
Step 6: Screw in the 4 screws.
Step 7: Sit back and enjoy!

A mod that should have come with the car! Honda was nice enough to give us the pedals, why not the dead pedal??

Anyways that is it, hope it helps if you have any questions feel free to post up or PM me!

Enjoy arty:

Although this piece was quite expensive for what it is, it really does complete the look down there.

Is there a point to this other than cosmetics? Not trying to be a smart ***, I'm genuinely interested if there is a use for these

Looks like you lose some performance holding grip as there aren't any grooves like the stock one has.

A Dead Pedal places your resting left foot at a more correct angle for when you slide over and apply the clutch. It actually does serve a purpose. It saves the time it takes to pick your foot up off the floor before you clutch.

I personally dislike the stock pedals they dont grip my shoes when wet. But good job on the install looks complete now.

While I thank you for your effort, was a DIY really necessary here? If your idea was to show how easy the install was, you probably could have just said "The install was simple. Only takes a philips screwdriver to screw the thing on!"

No?

the DIY was fine...might show some people how simple it really is who were afraid it was more work.

Plus it reminded me to order mine!!
