Im currently doing a b18b or b20 swap in my da Im boosting the motor which motor out of the 2 can produce more horsepower with alot of torque? I will be running 8psi daily what would I have to do in order to do this swap as far as getting the motor in the car? do I need a new ecu? how would I cange obd1 to obd2?? I need help guys thanx!!

 

Go with the B18b. They're stronger than the b20's. What I say to most people and I'll say to you is get the b18 bored to 84mm. Thats basically a b20 right there. Go either way you want to but I would go with the Ls. They love boost. Another thing is Ls motors are a dime a dozen. So you shouldn't have a hard time finding one

Another thing about your ecu and what not is what year is your car? I'm assuming you have an EK cus you want to know how to change OBD1 to OBD2. And to answer that question is you can find wiring conversion harnesses everywhere. I don't think they're too much either. And trust me, most guys are gonna reply to this with dumb remarks like, "It's called search or something" but I find it easier to get answers to your specific question. So just ignore those guys and good luck with the swap.
