Cool, thanks.

Did you notice any hp gains with the cat still on? I am debating whether or not to get a test pipe.

NO, itll sound raspy and poopy. unless you boost, not worth it.
youll feel a little more pull on the header, but not a lot

That is what I figured about the hp gains. I am currently running just an AEM V2, and during the weekend I will be installing my Header, and Apexi WS2.

I can't wait to get them on!

what are you serious?....you should try it before you come up with a stupid comment like that

i felt more gains up top with a test pipe and sounded just a tad bit louder

i was like you before the test pipe, i asked a local tuner (south gate auto) and they said that they never use cats on any of the cars they work on

my test pipe gets a from me, and no it doesnt sound raspy, sounds actually deeper and screams in vtec

I think I may do a search and see which test pipe is better, Omni or Skunk2 and buy one. As for the Vtec, I have an ls so I won't be hearing any screaming, but that is fine for me now.

Did you notice a burning smell when you first drove your car after installing the Megan header? I noticed a burning smell, don't know if this is normal or not.

Also, dosn't it depend on the cat back system as to how loud your car will sound? The sound all depends on the resinator in your muffler correct? It has nothing to do with the cat.

I plan on running an Apexi WS2 with my Megan header and test pipe, I don't think it is going to change the sound of my exhuast that much, maybe a deeper tone if anything.
