Default USDM EF Civic hatch w/ JDM CRX SiR front end

Ok before I throw my flame suit on, I just want to say that I have searched and only came up with dead ends.

I KNOW that the EF9 front end and the EF8 front end are not interchangeable and DO require modifications to make the CRX SiR front end fit on the USDM Civic. However I would like either pictures or links to show examples of the completed project.

NOT facts on how to do it. I already know its a custom job.

NOT flaming about how it shouldn't be on there in the first place so don't do it

NOT posts about how I should just do a Civic SiR front end.

Like I said before. Links or Pics.

You know, I was really curious about this as well. I know there are alot of purists on here and that's cool n all but I sure would like to know if anyone has done this conversion.

I have a JDM CRX Front end, but I wrecked my crx and now I have a hatch in mint condition. I have been searching and searching for an EF9 front end but nobody has one in good condition.

I do like how the USDM CRX front looks on a hatch tho. That is why I am anxious to see an EF8 front end on an ED7 chassis.

it cant look anything but good in my head, so i really want to see a conversion completed! i think that front end with a PasswordJDM lip and sides would make a hatch look hella clean.

What color is that second car? Anyone know?

Do what you want with YOUR car I think it looks sick. Why don't you have any pictures of your car on your myspace. And what are you doing with that dog?

Ok now, how difficult would it be to utilize the crx sidemoldings on the ef? I know they will probably needs to be cut and lengthened but what about fitment otherwise?

That first pic looks wrong. Either its a bad angle or it's one of those weird mirror effect shots.

The second pic looks better but I wanna see how it looks from the front center and a perfect side profile shot before making decisions.

It looks better than the USDM front end that's for sure.

i'm partial to the civic sir front, whether its on a hatch or a CRX, i dont like the split front grille. the one big opening on the civic sir looks better. though i like the faux ducts on the CRX one, easy to make them real

Crx on a hatch is the best ever, im just not sure about the color. THat extra vent would go great with a huge FMIC
