[Speculation] Maybe the clicking is just unlocking something in the car that can only be done when the clutch is depressed? An example of this is on the Auto civics. When you depress the brake, and this is barely audible unless your head is right near the shifter, you can hear a tiny, tiny click that is letting you push the button in to shift out of park.

Then again, I can see myself being totally wrong on this since you prolly shouldn't be hearing a clicking noise from the seat when you depress the clutch.

Nice catch...I get that in my 07 Si Sedan too...but I just ignore it...as long as it doesn't do anything serious to my car...you can berely tell unless you really feel for it...

Most likely the auto adjuster on the clutch pedal. Its just adjusting each time you push in the clutch.

I was just about to say the samething, except I have the 06.

This isn't really like a clicking noice, but more like a spring. Like when you push a spring together.

Not good. My A/C went out, now this?

my 2007DXG does the same thing.

I looked into it..........

On my clutch pedal there is an assembly attached to a single wire.
When you depress the clutch, a sping-loaded mechanism allows for the wire to contact the metal of the assembly.
The noise is actually being caused by metal on metal contact.
I have no idea what this assembly does. I actually removed it from mine with a single nut. At first I thought it might be connected to the ignition kill switch to make sure that you have the clutch in when you start the car.

I have no idea what it does, but i removed mine and the noise is gone.

IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT THE HELL IT IS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I'M SURE THEY PUT IT THERE FOR A REASON.
