MAIN THREAD FOR THE MEET

Alright folks, here's the layout for the Journey, if you would like to participate/join in, please let me know by posting here. I'll keep a tab of how many people are showing at each checkpoint, so as not to lose anyone. Also, I'd like anyone who has any ideas on checkpoint locations, to PLEASE CHIME IN. I do not know the entire trip 100%, so it's not as if I know all the available park & rides, or decent places to pick up travelers.

PLEASE NOTE: I know that this looks like a little bit rough, but with this long of a journey, I think it's fairly accurate. I also know that not everyone will be able to pit stop at the same mileage, so feel free to drop off when necessary. I set it with 3 checkpoints for a reason. It gives a chance for those with more thirsty engines, a chance to catch breath and keep up. Once again, please throw ideas that are worth noting, at me. I'm up for suggestion.

Its just like 8 hours max for you. Not too bad...I"ll be driving the rex from checkpoint 2. If you are gonna take 26 then we need to meet up somewhere near the NC border or gaffney etc... I'm not very very familiar with where 26 is up there, so someone who is, chime in...Add me to the list

sounds cool man, i might do that and just chip in on gas.... if the teg is 100% i'll drive i though, just so we can look cool with a bigger group rolling lol..

im the same, might go doubt ill drive my car that far becuz i wouldnt trust it yet, but no idea looks fun though.

Okay, for the 2nd checkpoint...


I'm looking at the map and 26 runs through Spartanburg, not Greenville. If we stopped IN greenville, we'd have to backtrack to get back to 26, OR run up 25 to hit 26 (which I don't think is that smart).


I think the Greenville people should meet up in Spartburg instead. You guys can get together and meet the caravan in Spartanburg.
