How hard is it to cut sidemarker holes?
im thinking about getting sidemarkers for my eg. Anyone ever fuked up the fenders trying to cut the holes out? or have any hard *** time doing it? this would be my first time cutting something like this and just want some tips so i dont mess up. is it easy to do a clean job and have it look perfect and oem? a dremel is the best way to cut it right?
Take it to a body shop and give them a picture of another car with sidemarkers and tell them to drill the holes.

well im no pro but have cut three cars fender so far for the side marker installs..pretty easy and most times came out decent but needed to use some bono for the lines at the ends..i used a air compressor and cutting wheel works like a charm ..but im sure a dremel would do it cleaner..i say go for it..gotta learn sometime..just line it up correctly and make sure you have the correct angles..ect...hope this helped

That's when you bitch at the owner and ask him if he would be happy with that paint on his car.
Then they repaint it.
For paint matching a fender or sideskirts maaco is perfectly fine.

theres a template around that gives you the exact messurements...i used that...put masking tape on my fender and drew the messurements with a pencil...i used a dremel to cut the hole...this is how it came out.
Do the regular instruction manuals wire them so that they come on when you turn your corners on? Or is that a "custom" thing?
I like seeing the sidemarkers that stay lit and blink brighter when turn signals are being used.

i dont thin you get instructions on how to wire them...but i've been seing alot of people ask on how to make light up with the corners and blink with them as well...i wired them to the corner blinkes..the 2 wires from my sidemarkers got tapped to 2 on the corner, BUT not to the ground wire from the corner..one was to the red and the other to the green wire......forgot exactly which wire went where though...try one way or the other...

Actually .... JDM is having your corner and side markers off no matter what, and flashing in time with each other for turn indication.

is a metal nibbler more precise than a dremel? i never used a metal nibbler before and was wondering if it was easy to use and any muscle needed for cutting?

It can be more precise and cleaner. It is easier to use, but takes longer to cut the hole. It takes some muscle to keep squeezing the handle.
