What does it feel like when your syncos are going in any of your gears?
Is is like a grinding sensation and its kinda hard to put in gear because to feel something spining in front of the gear everytime you try and put it in?? If not what the hell does it feel like , because my third gear may have had it

The easiest way to tell is that the gear will grind when you put it in. It starts off only doing it when you partialy clutch or clutch fast at high RPM. Then it will do it at full clutch RPM unless you give the syncro a LONG time to spin up, and it gets progressivley worse. You can force it into gear even when it grinds, but this is bad (obviously) for youre gear set. Usually third gear goes first. Then Fifth. Hope this helped.

OH god noooo, its my third gear that feels funny, Damnit!!! Is this covered by the warrenty?? (P.S. I have an exedy clutch, flywheel, and ATS final but they don't know about them).

Many people have syncro problems on their R's, I wonder why. Are they so weak? 2 years ago my 4th syncro was fucked up, now it is my 3rd too.

I was told by the dealer that they could not touch my tranny due to my ATS FD. They knew I had it by taking the car out and checking the RPM to speed

they drove my car and didn't Notice it (yet). If they don't notice while they are driving will they be able to see it visually if they open up the tranny. Is it that visable?

Its not realy visabile in the tranny unless they count the teeth. However, they might notice that you did some work on it before they even open it up. Naples acura knew I droped the tranny the minute they put it up on the lift. All depends on the dealership.

I get a very slight, slight grind on the 4-3 downshift occassionally only on real quick downshifts. I have verified that the clutch is fully compressed etc. Is that a possible synchro issue? It only happens occassionally and never happens on the 2-3 upshift.
