Head lights when turned off but dimly lit?

Default Head lights when turned off but dimly lit?

You know when you turn on your car, but you don't turn on the head lights
But the headlights will be dimly lit up

What is that called? Is there a name for it? Like city lights or something? I think all usdm hondas have this?

its called the DRL (Day time Running Lights) all car after the year of 88 should have it unless you pull the fuse out..

the only lights will will come on after u start the car and drop the ebrake is the DRL...

incorrect. not all cars have DRL. all depends on manufacturer.

EDIT: Is this a canadian thing???
