Default Cracked Pintle cap on injector?

Is it fine to run with out it? I dunno if I did it or it was already cracked when I pulled but it is...I don't think the tip itself was damaged just the cap.

As in send it out the door

The covers don't do any thing except protect the pintle as long as that is not damaged I would not worry about them, if it is replace them.

I'm sure they have never been pulled, they're stock injectors.

i believe those things are there to help the fuel atomize so it burns more efficiently. i doubt anything bad will happen, other than a small loss in power and possibly reduced gas mileage

Yeah they slightly affect the spray pattern of the injector (help with atomization as Heylookits shawn stated). I clean injectors at my work and have seen it first hand in the machine I use to flow/clean injectors where you can observe their spray pattern. I can send you some replacement pintle caps if you're interested.

If I have them in stock, sure. PM me the year, make, and model of the car the injectors came from.
