The Day when I bought my Type R
I bought my Type R two months ago but for some reason (my lazyness) I never posted pics from that day.
I drove with my buddies to Pittsburgh (470 miles away from Chicago) to pick up my R and it was actually one of the best days of my life
Leaving Chicago....

Going East
.......

The first time I saw her
......

Driving Back to Chicago.....

Making sure that my new baby is fine

Sitting nice and safe in my garage

I feel somewhat of a close bond with your car just because I was so close to getting her before the seller gave it to you. He sent me many detailed pics...yes, I know where all your little imperfections are

Yeah, the interior is pretty sick. There was not even a single scratch on the CD player when I got the car LOL,
Previous owner really took good care of it

Nice story man. It was a fun day, wasn't it? Haha.
I remember the day I brought mine home.
I had been looking for a Type-R close to home (Inside the state, or within 5-6 hours or so), and I finally found one in Denver, NC. Which is right outside of Charlotte, about 4.5 hours away. And it just so happened that I had to go up to Charlotte that weekend to help my brother move out of his dorm room for the summer.
Adam met up with me outside of Charlotte, I looked the car over thoroughly, even though I knew right away I was going to buy it. I told him to consider it sold, that I had money coming that next day.
So after a long week of going back and forth trying to get everything arranged, a few "Someone offered me $500 more than you're willing to pay, and he's in town." statements, and I was up in Charlotte the next week before anything else could come up.
BJ (Madspeed) and I drove up in his '97 Type-R, picked my Type-R up, and hammered it all the way back to Wilmington. I hadn't even owned the car for a day before I had 2-3 ricers try to race me upon my arrival back into town... Nothing's changed since, haha.
One of the best days of the past year, I was so glad I finally found a car that I was content with keeping for a very long time... How ever funny that sounds, I couldn't find a car that could keep me interested for more than two months or so... I'm a *****.
It's coming close to a year of ownership, and I love the car just as much as the day I brought her home... 78,000 miles, and she now has over 95,000.
I love my ITR.

I know there are R haters out there just for the reason they don't own one. And I have met some real jerks that have R's. But, to this day it's such a privelege to pull up @ a car show or just a gathering of car nuts like us & watch how much respect the R commands. I feel very blessed to be the owner of PY 01-0251.
