BB3 changing pressure control valve to BB6´s one
i have just finished BB3 changing FPR to BB6´s one, using the resonators valve hose on same plug too,to avoid to much fuel at Vmax,so i got now 3.5bar pressure more from 0-4280Rpm and 2.5bar up to 6300Rpm,that gave me 191Nm @ 4280Rpm and 142.5Km/h taking me in 8.7sec from 0-100Km/h nearly a second faster,im using also a self made CAI not more ....
any suggestions or critic?
(for this thread a german forum blows me of,dunno why?can u tell?)

sometimes increasing fuel pressure a bit can help especially when you have done
some modifications. Glad it worked well for you.
some modifications. Glad it worked well for you.
Lets restate the question, so that hopefully some other people could jump in.
First off, hes got a 2.0L Prelude (BB3 w/ the F20B engine). He swapped in the fuel pressure regulator FROM a BB6, which is the 2.2L version. His ONLY modification is a cold air intake. What has happened, as a result of said mod, is that his fuel pressure is at 3.5bar @ 4280rpm and goes down to 2.5bar @ WOT. It USED to be 2.5bar MAX, with the old regulator. Now he's also done something with the vacuum line going to the FPR. Instead of just one (coming from Intake), he has 2 of them. One is the original and is T'd with another coming from the resonator box. [Apparently, and I won't lie, but I didn't know there was a valve that opened up in the resonator box] He is using this secondary valve as the source of the second. So thats what is happening as his fuel pressure goes from 3.5 down to 2.5bar.
His question though is: Why do I run rich/lean up top and how can I fix this?
Said mod, on his car, helped in the 0-100km on the order of a full second. However, top speed overall has dropped from 210km/h to 201, something like that (we conversated over AIM).
Just trying to give you guys the real deal on this thread.

with a glance in my eyes i want to say :"u discribed it perfectly"
less to say i got near 20% more torque in doing this changes and until using the second vacuum line (the one from the resonator),i gone back to 206KmH topspeed, not 211 like before but nearer

Wondering if no one has an idea in optimizing the topspeed by using this resonator vaccum line,it must be only a bit finetuned,i hope u help me therfore
