I'm looking for a RSX type S setup. I need the engine, trans, ECU, catalytic converter assembly, and the RSX throttle cable.

Check ebay. I have seen a couple type-S swaps around there.

 

the way those Type S motors are blowing up and burning oil, you'll probably be able to find a LOT of motors laying around.

 

funny thing is my dad mentioned the fact that my Si seemed to be burning oil as well. Ha maybe this new design isnt so good after all. Well, if you know of any that are for sale lemme know.

 

How many miles do you have on your 2002 Si? Have you been beating on it since day one?

 

how about JDM RSR-R (02 Integra Type R motor).....????complete with only about 1000km on the clock...

The did that swap already. Very nicely done. Check out the price for a jdm motor because if its only a grand difference then you should just opt for the 220hp k20 motor . Now that would be nice. I wonder if the si tranny can be kept with the swap because you would have to cut out some part to make it go into reverse as stated on the swap review that I read up awhile back because the rsx-s/r have that sixth gear with another row to go for reverse... I'd like to meet him then. He must not take his out then cause i havent seen anyone here yet, and Honda called and told me i had the first one, i could care less though not a big deal.
I'd like to see his time slip cause i thought my run was quite fast for all stock.

 

I called him today and talked to him, he said that it would be quite expensive but we'll see.

 

16.4 would be about .7sec slower than his time, wouldnt it?
