Default retuned my b16a, 257whp 169 ft/lbs tq

my car ran like craps since last time I tuned with the new intake manifold (TWM ITB originally on the motor), turned out the chip went bad (I guess after too many times reflash, sst 27sf512), so I decided take the car to the dyno and retune it, here's the graph

Good torque for 89mm

What manifold did you go with? Race gas I presume?

the motor is 86 x 89, and yes the car was tuned on 110, 84 x 89 was my other old motor..., here's the old thread

and I made the intake manifold

the intake charge will have more time to travel to the runners, which in turn produce more laminar air flow, also taking the full advantage of the velocity stack as the car travel down the track

so lets say you make intake pipe that relocated your TB all the way down and use it with your current matifold you would gain power?

Time has nothing to do with flow being laminar.

That's a huge top end. 8100-9500+ rpm is over 250whp! Sick! Nice work on the manifold as well.
Take it to the track now and see how it performs.

I'm not sure what will happen to your power if you just move the throttle body from your current intake manifold

so does it have any positive effects on it? Or leaving your TB in stock location is more effective?

this is the previous graphs before I retune the car, this graphs are the intake manifold vs TWM ITB, the 249whp is the intake manifold

Did you play with your runner length at all? Just curious they appear to be much shorter than most IM's. Looks very nice

Why you'd use a B16A block when you have the exact same bore and stroke of a B20?
