Nope. Not worth it. Why would you want to do it. Its already been done. You can do a low budget turbo'd setup on a d16 with very good results though

not worth if at all, id say 160hp at tops and most likely not streetable. boost is the choice, you could build the engine and make 400hp cheaper than all motor. just my 2cents

In my opinion, No. I don't think you'll see the kinds of gains that you would if you were boosted for the same money.

My new car is a 97 EX, bone stock. I've thought about going all motor and read enough to know that if you want impressive power gains you will need a swap or forced induction. Given the price of a full FI kit I'd go that route. In the end I think money spent on a turbo will give you more HP and more enjoyment.

it depends how you wonna build it. If you have another car I suggest you just buy a cam and some stock pistons. Have a machine shop slap the pistons on and some arp rod bolts and resize the rods. Put a cam and valve springs on and some bolt ons. Hone the block yourself and put bearings and rings in. If you took your time and did **** right with bolt ons you can put down 140-150whp and more torque then a b16 ever will.

It's not a bad set up for the money. I wonna do one of these one day. I don't think that the whole build is going to cost you more then $1000. I wonna see what d17 crank setups do. Prolly somewhere around 170-180hp on pump gas is possible. That's a bad *** sleeper setup.

300 WHP on a mustang dyno is gonna last? A stock longblock D16? Give me some of whatever you're smoking please.

This is one of the most useless thread currently on H-T. This is something pioneer Honda tuners discussed like 10 years ago. No retard would waste their time trying to build an all motor 1.6 SOHC engine.

He's been putting it down for awhile, I'm sure it's a good build.
