Default Real or fake Volk TE37?

Thinking about grabbing these but not sure if they're real. What do you guys think? These are the best pictures I have for now. Seller says there are no stickers on the inside of the wheels.

If/when I grab them I'll check for: Rays stamping on the inner hub, non-rubber valve stem. anything else?

some people have said that the lugs don't line up with the spokes on real ones. also that the valve stem lines up with a lug hole on real ones. can anyone verify this?

don't think I could use weight cause the tires are mounted.

that's what I've read too. even just looking at it, the design looks like rotas to me.

not that you need more persuading. but those are fake.

There is my picture comparison. My real volks vs fake. Fakes have the lug holes line up with the spokes. Real do not. Rather the space between the holes lines up with the spokes. I do not know the difference for 5 lugs though.

thanks for the input! I was suspicious when he didn't know if they were 15x6.5 or 15x7 because there are no stickers on the inner sides.

is rota the only manufacturer who makes TE37 copies?

right now he wants $800 but since they are fake I'm thinking of offering $300-$400. Tires are pretty much crap so I may go even lower. what do ya think?

actually after a quick comparison of 5 lugs, you want to check for the position of the tire valvestem. then from that point check the position of the 5 lugs to the valvestem.
The rota grids 5-lugs have the top of the 5 lug (imagine a 5 poitned star) pointed away from the tire valve stem.

Volk TEs have the point of the 5 lugs pointed closest to the valve stem

that's why I ask H-T cause so many are familiar with real and fake ones (and can tell by just looking).

I totally agree but wanted to see what others thought. I'm pretty sure I can tell when I see them in person as I'll look for the Rays stamp in the inner hub. The seller says they are real, but from the info gathered here it'll be easier to convince him that they are NOT real. plus I wanted to have the right $ on hand when I meet em ($800 vs. $300). oh well, I'll post what I find out when I see them in person.

FYI, you say you might offer 300-400 for them since they ARE fakes, just so you know you can get them Brand new for a little over 400 nowadays, just a thought

listen, those are NOT volks, dont worry about what stickers the guy has, u should tell him to put it on a scale and send you the picture, if he wont then u know that he knows they are fake.....justy wondering what site is the guy selling these off of, i wonder if he really thinks they are real?

PICS of my te's, notice the lug holes DON"T line up with the spokes:
