The axleback portion got destroyed on a security barrier that was partially coming out of the ground. 5Zigen will not replace the axleback portion by itself. I'm not willing to pay for another new 5Zigen, after waiting 3 months for mine.
[sarcasm]Thanks for the pics of the SP2, though.[/sarcasm]

I had a 1G Sp1 on my ride when I first got it, and it sounded pretty good. Ended up blowing the packing and it started to sound like $hit.

which would lead me to believe that buying another greddy SP would inevitably blow out the same way....

One would think that Greddy has improved upon their quality control over the years, especially with the introduction of a revised SP product line. Perhaps not.

wow, the sp2 looks so different when its off the car, but when installed it looks almost exactly like the sp1. About the packing going bad, my exhaust has taken a beeting and it still sounds good, although i will be replacing it soon with something else. I'm just redoing everything lately so it seems.

I agree. I had the WS2 for a while and, besides it being chambered and not a straight-through design, it sounded pretty damn good. Not too quiet, but definitely not excessively loud, like my Spoon N1.
