Limp Mode ?? 98 Prelude
New to this forum and Honda's. I have a 98 Prelude. The engine started running bad like a miss then died. My plugs are fouled black. I also have a camshaft code in memory
I replaced the distributer first and it still would not start. Then I replaced the plugs and it fired right up like the problem was fixed. Ran great for about 10 minutes then when I went to clear the code with the engine running it died. Would try to crank over and start but its acting like it doesnt know where # 1 is for reference. It must of been in limp mode before and just wouldnt fire because the plugs got fouled. Fuel pressure is to specs at 44to 46 psi.
Did I miss something. Since it hasnt set a code yet i'm assuming its in normal mode and not limp mode now and thats why it wont start now. I just missed the actual cause of the problem. Any Ideas ??. Thanks
