Default Spoon springs installed!

If someone could IM me on the board with their e-mail addy i could e-mail them and put them on the board. I am computer illiterate here. i can't even follow directions on how to post pictures on the net! I would appreciate it.

As far as the springs go well i like them thus far. I hope to have more pics by next week some time and also some insight as to how they perform both during daily driving and being pushed to their limits. I will be at Sebring next weekend for the ChinMotorsports event.

Spoon goodness

Mike

Hey, remember when I get up to Orlando mid June we gotta hit up the track and cause some trouble , it's rare enough when you see ONE ITR at the track, we'll see if we can get you, me, Ryan and other type R owners...maybe Marc

I think he was referring to a road course. If you think drag racing is fun, you haven't tried road racing.

Before I get flamed,
drag racing is
road racing is

Different kinds of fun.

That does look much lower than I thought the Spoon springs would lower the R. Did you measure the drop?

I thought the spoons were supposed to lower ~0.75 inches?

Yeah i would say that 20mm is an understatement. I saw Marc's (RealTypeR) car after it got the spoon's on and it looked way lower than just a 20mm drop. His car is very nice

I like the drop thus far

Marc: I would love to go but since i am going all the way down to Sebring next weekend i am gonna pass; although i do want to get my car on the auto-x course! I didn't take off my wing. The hatch was open on the pic

You dont have to be 21 to join Chin Motosports. Even if you had to be i will be 21 in less than 2 weeks!

Mike <--who got the progressive he thinks

Looks good...Any pix of the front after lowering? I'm assuming it's not as low as the rear.

I will have many pics of the car from all different angles on Monday for everyone to see what they look like.

As far as the ride goes the springs feel really good. You feel every bump a slight bit more but they have a nice firm feel to them for daily driving.

yeah that 20mm is an understatement. those springs "slammed" the R's compared to what they were suppose to do.

Yeah i guess you could say it more than just dropped it a little. i wouldn't go as far to say it slammed it but it does look nice.

Hey, looks great man. You need to put some more pics up there so we can get a better idea of what it looks like. I also thought you had removed the wing as well until I looked at the picture better. You were about to receive a call on that one! LOL

Drop.
