Well i got this about two months ago i think. ive been doing little things since then, trying to save up to get body work done. well i finally broke down and took it to maaco after getting quotes of around 3 grand from everywhere else. Overall im pretty damn happy considering i only paid $1050 all together. I had some decent sized dents and creases, along with paint you could shred cheese on. They missed maybe two little dings. sorry for lack of pictures, i didnt get it home till like 6 oh and they re cleared the cf hood.

oh and another thing, i made sure i stressed to the guy what i wanted, hes like " i can do it for 800" "can you do it better for 1000?" i might have payed more for the same thing but w/e

 

You payed a grand to have MAaco paint your car.....eeeekkkkk Hope it don't peel crack fade rust like my car did. Did they strip it and prime it?

From what I can see they did an excelent job compared to most maaco paint jobs

well i have a warranty on the paint, but i dont know to what extent. i dont think the maaco i went to had much for work at the time. the guy i dealt with wanted to get my car in asap, and kept it for over a week.

im at school now but ill get day time pics. what would you recomended that i should have done? get a $300 paint job? you get what you pay for but there is a limit.

 

looks pretty good from what i can see. I only paid a bit over 400 for my maaco paint job on my old coupe and it came out really nice. the paint is about 2 years old now and it still looks great with the new owner.....

too much for a maaco paintjob

 

Maaco's quality varies from location to location. A friend of mine has gotten a 4 runner, MKIV Supra, 92 Viper, CRX, etc... all painted at the Maaco here with great results

 

Looks pretty good to me.
