i ask this because the idle air control valve is different on the automatic as oppose to the manual 5th gen prelude. now have you actually seen an auto with skunk 2 parts, because the idle air control valve plays a big role in keeping a steady idle while at a stop sign.

i work at autozone so i have alot of free time. when you search up a part for a customer it would ask you certain things to arrive at the right part. like the starter on the auto prelude being different from the manual one. if you look up intake manifold it asks you if its auto or manual hence theres a difference and in my experiences those differences count alot in the fitment.

not to bash on you but from my experiences people at autozone don't know what they are talking about. I have been screwed by them too many times. They gave me the wrong radiator, valve cover gasket, and even the wrong power antenna. All on seperate occasions, 2 different stores, by all different employees. Maybe its a flaw in the computer system, i don't know.

Anyway, the skunk 2 IM is crap unless your car is heavily modified(from what I hear). I think more people support the Euro-R IM.

Seriously, any advice or information you get from Autozone has about as much chance of being right as someone actually seeing the bear **** in the woods and collecting the pinecones he used to clean himself afterwards.

thats simple if those parts were for your prelude, 99 percent of the time we don't carry it, and if it says we do, it will not fit.

when the computer requests information on whether the car is auto or manual does not necessarily mean that each part between the two models are different. if the application of the IM is for an H22 then it's for all H22s, not just for manual preludes or auto preludes. so to answer your original question, yes the IM will fit your lude just as bears do **** in the woods.
