I'm about to purchase a 95 GSR tranny, but there's no VIN on it. There is the usual Y80 plus some number next to it, but definitely not a VIN. Does anyone know if the VIN's are attached to the tranny like the later model integra's? Thanks

Thanks guys. It has the sticker on it that indicates that it is a Y80 tranny. Looks legit. He said it came straight from his GSR, and he replaced it with a B16 tranny.
