HELP! looking for more information on a swap im doing (i have a crx and putting in gsr)

Default HELP! looking for more information on a swap im doing (i have a crx and putting in gsr)

so I have a crx and I am putting in a gsr block. I have hasport motor mount kit & hydro tranny conversion kit. but I need help on converting the harness I know rywire makes a kit and so does hasport...but, is there any more information on how it's done...I also have a complete wiring harness from my eg hatchback that I recently totalled i was wondering could I use that??? sooo This is my first swap im doing a I just want a complete guide on how it's done PLEASE!!! oohh by the way my crx is a 91 and my gsr is obd1

You can run that motor in any obd, so what do you want to run it as? 0, 1 or 2?
I'd reccomend running it as obd1.

If this is your first swap and you have to deal with goin obd1, wiring vtec and swaping to 5spd.. save yourself a headache order a harness.

I myself used boomslang worked great, rywire and hasports are nice as well.

you could probably use the harness from the civic to make a subharness for VTEC, VTEC pressure switch and knock sensor wiring though

I've got a 95 GSR in my 89 hatchback and did the complete wiring conversion to OBD1 myself.

Trust me on this; pay for a good conversion harness!!! It's money well spent.

I know Ryan (of Rywire) and he stands behind everything he sells. Plus, I don't think you will see anything bad about his product on this board.
