my car is runnning like dog **** its acting like I have a bad dizzy. TAch is jumping every where and it is loading up full of fuel and backfirirng. Its throwing a code 15 with is igntion output signal but every thing is wired right please help

code 15 is the igniter - have you checked it to see if it is bad?

 

yeah it is a brand new dizzy I bought it monday but I have another one on the way just in case

 

Where did you get it? Distributor King is where its at for a new distributor. That sounds like a distributor problem.

 

well I just put my new dizzy in and same problem as before. I did change the tps sensor but I didnt ohm it out does anybody think that could be the problem. If you drive the car using like 15% of throttle that car will run fine but if you try to put your foot in to it starts to bogg a miss and back fire. Someone help please

 

Ok what engine are you running? Is it the right distributor? Also is the timing correct? Honestly that sounds like when the timing is way out. But without being there and knowing what all youve messed with its tough to troubleshoot.

 

I have a d15b7 with si dizzy and si intake manifold I have no cels the timing is dead nuts I know that for a fact that is is right. I have the crank set a the 1 little line and the cam is set with the 2 lines flat with the surface of the head

What all did you replace/change and was it ever running right after the dpfi to mpfi? If you say that the timing is good I believe you but thats what it sounds like. Im running out of ideas and I dont want to start guessing. You havent changed the ECU have you?

 

I have pm6 ecus and I tried both of them and same thing happens. I dont know what else to do

i had the same setup...you have to put the tps sensor in the right way as you said ohming it out you must...the tps sensor thinks i dont know but it doesnt know what the hell to do...this setup will run great did you do a mpfi swap

 

Yeah I did the mpfi swap and I am not throwing any codes but it seems to be missfiring and my tach starts jumping around. It also starts smoking balck smoke and it smelld like fuel
