Eibach springs
i just got mine off of ebay for $207 with shipping but was told I had to have a special tool to compress the spring. My mechanic is charging me for three hours of labor half an hour for each strut and an hour for an alignment so its gonna be around $150 at $50 per hour i didn't think this was too bad. what prices did you get
You only have to compress the front struts, you shoulda also wait about a week to a week and half for the alignment, allow the suspension time to settle before aligning it.

I thought springs took approx 1month to settle (then do the alignment)
any official ruling on that?
Also guys, this is by far the EASIEST spring install on ANY generation civic .. go rent a spring compressor from autozone or kragen (for the front springs) and all you need a seriously just a few tools and a friend to help always makes it easiest
paying for a spring install is a waste of money!!!!!!!!

@ SeanJohn1802 , you still have to pay to aligned it or sometin , i have these springs my local shop charged me 400 total for cost of springs and installation/aligment or everyitn. lol but seriously dont you have to aligend it ? thats where the shop comes in so might as well
I bought the sportline kit for mine and have it here but have not had it installed yet but it is supposed to drop it 1.4 inches all the way around and just from looking at the car it seems like it is going rub if I drop it that much. And even if it doesn't rub just sitting there it looks like it definantly will when the suspension compresses. Does anyone have the sportline kit or pictures of it cause I definantly do not want it to rub.
if you think its going to rub it then put camber kits, whats the profile tires n wheel? like mine is 225/40/18 even tho its a 40 series since i made it 225 width it is big as oem 17s , and mine is 1.0 front drop n 1.2 on back no rubing no camber kits , in your case depending on the tire size width and profile it might determine weather or not it will rub
I don't understand what the camber kit really does. cause can't you adjust your camber with the stock set up? and my rims and tires are all stock but I eventually wanna get some rims with a little more offset. would that make it rub even more since the tires won't tuck underneath the fenders?
well go to your local shop , have them do evertying trust me u'll be thankful 4 dat , in my case since i only droped it 1.2 n 1.4 and i went with the biggest tire width and low profile as i could , so its like this compare a 225/40/18 vs a 215/40/18 you'll see theirs a huge diffrence in overall tire just for the 225 width that makes hte entire tire bigger, so since i droped it 1'' then thats all i could go on that tire size , for you , u might be able to do a 225 as well depending on size and all , go to your local shop and ask them about it u'll see what i mean
techincally u are supposed to compress the springs on the struts to safely remove them, but what i did is take the struts off the car, set it on the ground between 2 tires facing away from a car or any person, take a compressor and impact and get that bolt off and let the spring pop off. its not gonna be fun to take em off the si because of the horrible placement of all bolts. there is a DIY video on collegehillshonda that will show u how to do it and what bolts need to be removed.
WATCH IT AND DECIDE IF U WANNA PAY SOMEONE!!! IF NOT, diy

but what about the aligment? the shop is going to charge expensive for the aligment part , so might as well have them do it professionaly so if the screw up they'll cover everyting....
i just did the alignment myself yesterday and i'm completly satisfied with it. 1.5deg negative camber in the front and 3deg negative in the rear....1/32'' toe in on the front and 1/32'' toe out on the rear
