Anyone Running a Big Brake kit for the Fg2? or ANY brake upgrades for that matter?
I've been "brake" shopping....
Come up with a few different kits but pretty much on every forum , I haven't seen ANYONE upgrade yet.
Anyone have any upgrades to the braking system before i shell out 1300 for this Rotora kit?
Thanks
- Mike

The last kit looks bad *** especially since it "will" clear 16" rims. That means that us Canuck can still run our 16" winter set up with the system!!!
I thought it was an established intArw3b fact that the Rotoras are just for looks.
Putting that **** behind those Volks is a crime, IMO.

check these out if you buy one of them let me know if they will clear stock rims

I was looking at the Power Slot Rotors.. I'm not sure on crossdrilled, seen too many cracked.
I knew I would find this if I looked hard enough. Brembo has a front kit. Not sure of the price since it is not lists

i did some mild upgrades....
Hawk HPS pads f+r
edelbrock/russell stainless steel brake lines f+r
stop tech slotted rotors (oem size though)
motul rbf 600 brake fluid..
so far it feels real nice...i know for sure i've decreased stopping distance...
i don't think the rotors do much....but they sure look damn good...
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2216565/2 FOR PICS.
i will in time change to bigger rotors...like poweslot big brake rotor when it's available...but everything else stays the same.

you should upgrade to a wilwood brake kit as it would give you bigger calipers and more pistons per caliper but also bigger rotors

this type of upgrade is unecessary for a daily driver car....
for daily driving all you need to do is upgrade brake pads, brake lines, brake fluid, and maybe some brembo blanks...
other than that, the rest is just throwing the money around making ur **** look pretty

I was talking to sickyute who has enough power in his car to put a bigger caliper and rotor on and make use of it
i might just do that...
just waiting for more options where that is concerned...

I talked to fast brakes about a sponsorship and they told me to send my stuff in because they do have a few different sets for the new either in production or finished product. just email them up and say Dwight with the 2006 S/C civic Si sent me
gonna bring this abck from the dead....
fastbrakes just came out with a kit that is $1600 but includes 12.2 rotors and brackets and Brembo Calipers with Hawk Pads. I just emailed them to see if they will work on stock wheels as they say you need 17" wheels but they come stock on cars. The brembos are off the new TL Type S I believe.
