Default Suspension Techniques sway bar owners

I have a rear ST sway bar (green one) installed on my car among and I think that the shop that put it on might have put the brackets on backwards. the exhausts clearance sucks and the shop that installed it cut in to my exhaust to make the bar fit. What Im asking basically, is that the bracket has 2 circle holes on one side and 3 elongated holes one the other side. Which side mounts to the body and which side mounts to the endlinks of the swaybar? I have no instructions to look at, and I dont want to take the bar off until I know that its misinstalled. Right now the 3 holes are mounted to the body and the 2 holes are mounted to the bar. any pics would help, thanks again

You posting pics would help. I had the st 22mm bar on my crx with 2.5inch exhaust and it cleared fine...it should clear. And why the hell would they cut into your exhaust?? Smells fishy!

The side with the slotted holes mounts to the body. The round holes are for the swaybar bushing mount.

The side of the bracket with two holes bolts to the shock. If you'll notice it has a lip welded to it that keeps the bracket from turning when bolted to the shock.

I have the same problem with it hitting my exhaust. I love this world sport but its it just doesn't fit.

sounds like they installed it weird. because i installed mine upside down the first time. either the sway bar it self is upside down or the brackets are backwards.

i almost did the samething too, but i just paid attention to the directions to make sure i had it the right way. the hardest part was getting on the endlinks while the car was in the air

after installing it on a few different cars, i found it pretty easy to install on the ground, and then put it up under the car, that way all you have to do i bolt it to the frame, and to the lca's ( of course leave everything loose, and all you have to do it go back and tighten everything. its always harder to work upside down, or backwards.

Very nice LCAs. Mine looks identical to that, except it is red. I had no problems installing on the ground.

looks like they installed it right. If you install the sway bar upside down, the sway bar will be touching the bottom of the car. Here's a pic of mine
