My Beater EF
I got some new shoes (new to me - they're actually 1992-spec Primes or some ****) on my beater, a 1991 Civic DX HB, so I figured I'd post a few pics of it:

Don't under estimate the power of the non-VTEC SOHC - pssst! it runs dead even with a few certain B16A-swapped hatches out there. The stock intake tube adds a nice touch.

And:

The car is a 1991 DX hatch with all 1991 Si interior, 11:1CR D16A6 engine completely rebuilt with all OE Honda/Acura internals, Tein S-Techs on KYB GR-2s, cold-*** A/C - perfect daily driver for me.

My red EF was t-boned by some dumbass while my friend was driving it one day because I had his EK to check some problems out at work.
I picked this white one up for $1,400.00 - very clean, had 140K miles, and I swapped the engines and sold my wrecked red Ef for $800.00 as an awesome beater. the Dx engine/tranny that was in the white hatch ran awesome. The guy got the 1/4 panel fixed on the red one and I see it from time to time.

Oh you must mean something like this?
Engine:

Wheels? Spoon Sw388s good enough?

Now I don't know about a "serious drop" but MY EG is sitting on Koni Yellows and custom Eibach ERS coil-overs with 425F, 550R rates meant for some serious auto-Xing as opposed to hard parking and tucking tires. I meant I could slam it, but I'd be doing more harm than good in the handling department.
Yeah MY EF is far from an amazing completely restored ride, but it's my beater. My EG is where the money is tied up as you can probably see.

Damn man this topic just got bastardized by my other car. My Eg is a jealous bitch because I actually drive the EF more because it's too damn comfy and quiet.
