Default RS Door Handles Part #?

Can someone give me the part #'s for the RS handles without the door lock switches? The moron at the local dealer has no idea what he is doing.

Thanks

$7.something each. If your dealer is like mine, they quoted you $30+ each for the entire inside or outside handle assembly. I had to provide part numbers before they could figure out what I needed

Part numbers are top secret and you shouldn't share them with ANYONE!

Part numbers for hard-to-find and hard-to-import parts should be top secret

Pat, who agrees with Mike et al about taking the #'s off their goodies

My guess is so that it won't take away from the business of people who did their research and or paid for the Honda part catalog.

Ask someone who's in the business of producing 200whp engines. You'll find them less likely to share their secrets

Besides, it's not like folks are witholding part numbers that any average slob can get from their local dealer, they're sitting on information that they invested time and money to find. If you go up to a stock broker on the street and ask him what stock to pick to make money, is he going to tell you? **** no. He's going to provide a service in exchange for some sort of compensation.

You may forget that Dave, Mike and others I'm forgetting are in business. Businesses need to make money. Mike and Dave provide a service that I'm willing to pay for. And I'm not going to bitch if my JDM shift boot shows up without the part number...

Pat, who is now off the soapbox

Are these the same doorhandles where on the outside there are no keyholes?

If I pay money to someone for a part I want a clear recordable indication that I am recieving exactly what I want. Bottom Line.
If you have that concern, you should be more careful about who you deal with.

This isn't a BUSINESS only website...99.8% of the users here DON'T operate a business and are here to get HELP WITH THEIR cars...If everyone wanted to PAY for this, they'd be at the dealer getting raped!

For those that do, that's their decision to come onto a PUBLIC board...and they have the right to do that

nope, these are INTERNAL only, just to remove the silver tab to unlock the doors...
RS 4 door rear handles are entirely different

Vendors who withhold that information even AFTER a purchase will never make a dime from me. So how is that protecting their investment? In business to make money? Not my money I'll go somewhere else kthx .

I am careful, which is why I'm arguing this whole thing.

I guarantee this has happened or will happen sooner or later:
"Oh ****, your motor blew up because I sent you the wrong part, I wasn't sure what it was because I ripped the label off"

I'm careful enough not to deal with those vendors, I don't need to be recieving the wrong chit.

sackdz - who thanks Dave @ R+D for leaving all his JDM FD parts in original packing material with part labels intact.

Trust is trust.. but with part numbers on the OE packaging, that's extra security and added piece of mind..

Besides, it just makes all of us feel better

Default From the old guy...

...withholding USDM OE part numbers is flat out Gay... Hell, I'm not even a fan of with holding JDM part numbers... but then again, I'm smart enough not to rely on a dealer over-loaded market for my meat and potatoes anyway... NO disrespect to a lot of good people here though... I've purchased from some of them...
