I bought the shitty version of this and it uses 3m tapes to put on. I'm planning to remove this and wanted to know how to you remove the excessive 3m tapes that's going to be left over without damaging the car?

goo gone works well and won't harm your paint

 

there are a couple options. You can either keep picking at it with ur finger and use adhesive/grease/wax remover at the same time. or else u can purchase this rubber wheel that is like a eraser type compound which u run over the tape or adhesive and eventually will take it off without damaging the paint. check with ur local auto paint store.

It'll come right off after it soaks into it for a little bit.
