Default Questions on getting head ported and polished

Couple questions:

1.) Know abot Portflow, but who else would people recommend. What should I expect to pay for a quality job?

2.) I am assuming I need to take the head off and send to them. In doing so, do I need to take everytihng out of the head, i.e. cams, valves, etc.

3.) How much of a performance increase should I expect with my current mods (header, intake, cat., V-AFC).

4.) Anything else I should consider?

1. Portflow is the way to go. his rate is 900-950 if i remember correctly
2. you can just remove the cams/caps/spray bars and send as is
3. expect a good amount of gain in midrange, maybe a little up top
4. things to consider depends on what your ultimate goal is

What is the purpose of using oversize valves? I would imagine just a better rate of flow? pros/cons?

good for use in over bored(ie 83+mm) but no real use for stock bore
cant use aggressive cams due to valve-valve clearance issues

I think you are right with the flow. Get fresh air in faster and get exhaust gases out faster. Not sure beyond that.

Exactly what Sakai said. Big meaty midrange, just a little on top.
Real smooth curve.

I had Topspeed do my head. I think he gets $700-750.00, and his turnaround time is 2 weeks or so. Highly recommended.

Sorry for the shitty scan.
Before and after ported head.
B18C5, stock cams, stock ECU, stock exhaust, AEM intake, V-AFC, gears, DC JDM
Head was milled 12 thou for 11:1 compression.
