p28 trouble

Default p28 trouble

I recently installed a p28 ecu(chipped ,mapped for 450cc injectors,dsm)) into my car (99 honda prelude)and once I started it up it trew code 8 and 22 which were not there before,I checked the wiring but it seems to be ok.I heard some places that you should use an obd 1 distributor with a obd1 ecu is that true?The car is idleing like ****.Thanx for any advice

You will need an obd1-obd2 ecu harness. The dizzy does not make a difference.

other way around hoss

OBDIIA - OBDI conversion harness which can be purchased from john at http://www.phearable.net

u will also need to tune the engine. A basemap is not perfect.

I already got the obd1 conversion harness but am getting code 22 and 8 the ecu is good its been tested

Is code 8 in regards to a problem with the distributor?
