wow...how did anyone even answer not knowing any details about the setup...how do you know what cams hes using? (which will determine his rev range and powerband which then and only then must an IM be chosen to complement that, different lengths shift peak torque to different areas in the rpm range...you reccommend an IM that shifts peak torque (optimally) at 7k, but hes on CTR's or something which are probably still going to 8..Dont blindly give this man a product reccomendation

the ITR manifold doesnt fit the GSr head... i would just get a blox intake manifold for the cheap price and the HP it makes.. blox is the same exact thing as skunk2

thats what i sed, the guy up there sed get a ported ITR manifold, but the bolt pattern is different on the gsr head, unless he thought i had a b16 or c5 head, its a very close vote!

dont mean to bring this compleatly off topic but i think i have a skunk 2 IM on my gsr but it doesnt have the lil skunk2 name plate on top sooo does that mean i have a blox one or could it be that the skunk2 im is an older one and didnt have the name plate on it.
word thanks. yeah then its deff a skunk 2 cause it has that distictive whistle that everyone talks bout. lol funny story bout that ne wasy i was sitting nex to some primed out rice mobile and i had just gotten the car so i was a lil rev happy and makin it whistle and this guy goes aye mang you gots a turbooo in dat thing and all i could do was laugh and drive away very quickly. lol
skunk2 has two versions out. the older version looks identical to the itr stock manifold and blox. they have a new one out called the pro series, which from my understandin is ported it bit to make more high end power and has the nifty skunk2 pro series plaque on top of the manifold.
my brother went with a jg edelbrock on his fully built b20/ctr setup and it lags crazy til about 6k. he switched it out for the pro series, much more better response from around 4k.

I have seen a dyno graph comparison between the pro-series and the older model, the older made more low and mid-range abd the pro-series mde more high end. But it was less than a 2hp difference between the two
