Default Interior Trim Part II

As posted HERE by me, I installed the Silver dash trim in my Storm Silver Fit. It was purchased from Zeta Automotive products.

While it's not everyone's cup-of-tea, I like to share with all so you can see what things may turn out like before you take the dive yourself.

So, here in Part II of my interior customization, I have purchased the same silver trim to go around my HVAC controls. It was also purchased from Zeta.

Before pic...

The trim ring itself...

And the product installed...

I like it, but it doesn't quite fit (no pun intended) as well as I would have liked it to. It might be hard to tell, but, there is a slight gap between the ring and the actual controls; especially noticeable on the far right side. I suspect it is due to the thickness of the 3M adhesive on the back side of them.

None-the-less, I like it and am glad I bought it. I think I'm going to dive into the JDM satin silver door handles next. We'll see, so, stay tuned...

All constructive comments are welcome.

Well...

I do admit I love these posts of yours cause it really shows those whom were curious about what it would look like... well... what it looks like.

Good job.

Definitely. Let me know how the armrest goes. Is it an OE Honda one or did Zeta manufactur it?

I have been thinking about one of these also. I am curious of the impressions of those that purchased one.

i love it man. The zeta product is not OE but it is exactly like it is an OE product! it has a perfect drop in fitment, and it sits beautifully. It holds a lotta wasted space that the center console can't compete with. You have great access to the lil rectangular space (i'm assuming for sunglasses?) and the ebrake. I got the non-folding one and i love it. It is held in by 4 screws. The cool thing about this arm rest is that it has a hidden shelf that u can store super personal information. Did i mention it has a coin holder?? The leather is nice and soft and cushiony. It's great for ppl that have an ipod and like to hold the ipod in your hand while resting ur elbow on the armrest (like me!)
