Default Colored dash trim installed

Just a couple quick pics. It's getting dark and has been raining, so, I used what little light I could.

This piece looks pretty good. Subtle, but nice. There's no way I'd pay the $60.00 or whatever ridiculous amount Honda wants for it though. I scooped this one off of eBay for $8.00.

Here it is stock, with not trim:

And with the silver trim installed:

It is the OE Honda piece.

If tomorrow is a little brighter out I'll take some better pictures of it.

Oh wow. You weren't BS'en at all.

He is sellin' the rings around the climate controls too for the same price.

What a weirdo.

I highly doubt it's an OEM piece.

Check out the post on fitfreaks that Zeta was going to see these pieces as a set:

BTW, the trim pieces around the HVAC controls weren't offered as an accessory in North America......definately an aftermarket accessory.

Right on, Dai.

None the less, I'm very happy with it. And at a total of $18.00 vs. the Honda's $67.00 retail, I think it was a good move.

I totally agree with you!

I would never pay Honda's retail price for that or any of there other interior trim pieces!!

I, myself, have a full set of the trim panels that are 'aftermarket' and I am very happy with the fit and quality of them!!

JMHO... but I don't like the way they look at all. BUT...

If I did fancy them... I wouldn't care if they were OEM or not. At that price... come on now. That's a bargain indeed.

which pieces don't you like? I don't care for the ones that go over the door switches...it's too "off" looking and fake. I don't know how to describe those.

I was referring to any of the interior add on "sport" trim package items.

I just think it looks a bit tacky.

But point being... if you like em... then that was a darn good deal.

Would you consider selling your stock piece?

If I am not mistaken... those pieces just adhere to the tops of the existing pieces. Basically glued on to them.

Correct. It goes overtop the dash piece and is held in place with strips of 3M adhesive.
