i understand - I'm not trying to hate, but damn those are some bigass pics that are choking the (fractional) T-1 at work
a few question:
1. are there dual valve springs on both intake and exhaust valves?
2. what color are the springs on either side of the head (there should be some faint traces of paint on oem springs)? from what i can see in the pics, looks similar to the stock b16 springs, but its hard to tell.

I agree on the retainers...my old portflow retainers looked exactly like that.

why do you need to know what kind of spring they are? is it too see what kind of cams you can run? if so just put them on a spring checker....the local machine shop should have one

Solved the cam issue now just need these verified the cams are skunk2 stage vtec cams
Spring brand, not so much important other than what material they use. Installed height/load, open height/load, coil bind, blah blah blah matters more for what cam you're running. You can always take the springs somewhere and have them measure the rate. You can take a micrometer and measure inside & outside diameter and it'll tell you what the springs will work with. Other than that, you should ask whoever you bought the stuff off of what they are. Retainers, same crap, measure up the lip on the I.D. to O.D. rings and it should let you know how much spring load they can handle. Manley retainers look exactly like that also, so don't rely on someone to tell you what they look like. Get them checked out if you can't have the seller for sure identify them. Or atleast have him give you the spec card they should come with.
