Pilot Powers and the Michelin Man are for suckers, Sportec M3 FTW!
Decided to not hop on the bandwagon and try something new/different after reading several good reviews. Seems a lot of people liked the sportec M1's, so i figured with all the new advances the M3 incorporated i would give them a shot. They aren't too expensive to boot, and look sexAy.
The bitch they'll go on.
The absolute crap Dunlop D208's I got the bike with. DIE SHITTY TIRESSSS!!

Mmmm...shiny new M3 rubber..Thanks UPS men. (two UPS guys delivered them too me...a first.)
Running elephant >Fat Michelin Man
They should be a million times better than what I have now. Ill 'review' them when I get them installed and worn in a bit since no one seems to own these on the board from what I can tell.

I believe it was Super Corsas. Ask around something about Pirelli buying Metzler. I tend to intentionally forget all the corporate mumbo jumbo. I just ride em.
BTW, good choice, ditching the greaseball D208's.

Not too long ago 208's were one of the best street tires around. I still think they're relatively good. They give better feedback than the pilot powers.
Im always willing to try new tires if they get decent reviews, maybe ill try the m3's after I kill these pilot powers.

The bike steered like a cow, flopped unpredictably into corners and felt very top heavy. When I switched to the 150 radials, I almost drove off the inside of the track because it turned so easily. Race rubber is available from Dunlop (D-207GP and D-208GP), Michelin (Pilot), Metzler (Rennsport), and Pirelli (Dragon Supercorsa) in sizes 110-70-17 and 150-60-17. The Supercorsa and Rennsport are the exact same tire with different tread patterns. This makes sense since Pirelli and Metzler are the same company. </TD></TR></TABLE>
