So you want the LS to have the hydro setup from the civic?
And the civic to have the LS motor?
What motor is the LS going to have?
Is the civic going to be cable tranny?

my friend did this exact same thing, same engine into same year car. and since your going to need mounts. I suggest hassport. he bought the mounts and linkage which you also will need, from there and they threw the hydro/cable conversion kit in for free. Its easy to do and instructions were in nice detail. I kno cause i helped him do it. you get templates and everything. its a bit pricey but its damn nice stuff

You will need a mount that is not factory for the top of the trans to the framerail. I have the hasport kit which included this, but until I got the kit, I made my own mount using a combo of the two cars mounts/brackets. (Its just a little drilling, you can easily figure it out if you can improvise). As for actuating the clutch, You could use the cable and modify your pedal, but this is only a temporary fix and it doesn't work properly at all. The thing is, is that you have to adjust the cable so tight just to engage the clutch, it will make the clutch slip under ANY type of excessive load. (Normal driving and easy shifting can get you by, you just can not accelerate hard) As for the "easy" fix, you can look at a picture of the conversion kit and get an idea of what you can make. All you really need besides the mount, is the bracket to mount the slave cylinder to the cable trans. Instead of a horizontal mounting location, it is now vertical. Once the slave is mounted, you need to drill a hole completely through the actuating arm. You then use a different slave cyl. post that will accept a bolt through it. After that, the post needs to be bolted to the arm. And now the slave cylinder will push up on the arm, engaging the clutch.
