Tok Blues are trash. I've had both, very happy with my AGX's.

Tokico blues are soft as hell. They ride decent, but if you lower your a good bit then you will bottom out a lot.

KYB/AGX adjuatables and even the silvers ride awesome.

I had the AGX adjustables on my old Si hatch and they were great.

I still have silvers on my fiancee's car. Her car is dumped on them and they've lasted for over a year now even through Atlanta roads and monthly auto-X events. And yes she drove her car at the auto-x events...

Here's a pic of hers and mine:

One more:

If her car can ride on the "cheap" KYB non-adjustable Silvers for over a year and still ride awesome, then that should tell you that they'r quality.

I sold my car with the KYB/AGXs and have since gotten Koni full coil-overs because I got a great deal on them.

I would probably buy another set of AGZ struts if I were a little tight on cash and I wanted the best strut for the money IMO.

Good luck with your purchase!

Tokico Blues are not nearly as good as the KYB AGX. For the money, AGX can't be beat! BTW, this is coming from guy riding on Koni Yellows.

B18C5-EH2, just curious what springs you used in each application (your old setup and your fiancee's.) Thanks.

You're going to laugh, but they were actually the very 1st APC coil-overs. This was back in the day when they had the exact same rates as Skunkworks coil-overs.

So really they were Skunkworks/Skunk2 coil-overs.

Rip away if any of you would like to, but they were the same srpings and rates and they costed me $105.00 a set instead of $250 a set

I forgot the rates - I'll try to look at hers today and see them.

Haha. It's good to know that the KYB's can/could handle them.

Sup yall, since we're on the subject, any pros and cons on Tokico Illuminas or KYB AGX's? Which is better? I'm ordering a set tomorrow any input will help me decide. Throwing some Skunk2 coil-overs (Integra rates) on them as well.

I just got some KYB AGXs yesterday and installed them today. Man, they are great. I have them with Sportlines on my 94 HB. They feel much more comfortable than when I had my stock setup. I got them for only $300 brand new.

I believe the guy only has them for 92-95 civics. I saw his ad on ebay, but emailed them about it cuz I needed it that day and he was local, so we met up and I bought them. They were perfect and brand new. I know he runs http://www.irotors.com. Try emailing him at that site or just get them from him from his ebay auction. Its only 300 shipped. Tell him Johnny sent you.
