Default Skunk2 Cams Stage 1???????

Anyone got these with stock block? I plan on getting these, but want to hear about some actual numbers that they made. Or if you have a dyno sheet post them up
Thanks in advance

Why not Skunk2 Stage2 Cams? You'll make more power.

If you want to go Stage 1, I wouldn't spend that much money for just Stage 1's. I'd rather get ITR/CTR cams, Cam Gears and a VAFC with some tuning instead. You'd get great results...

For a drop in cam, the stage 1 is better than the stage 2. The stage 2 requires you to have more mods to take full potential of them. Otherwise you are just dropping in your stage 2s and putting more wear on your engine for no point.

If you want the stage 2's make sure you have higher compression. You'll still undoubtedly get some gains, but you'll probably be better off with stage 1's if you have stock compression. Stage 1's are easier to tune.

Yeah I just want a drop in cam. I can get the stage 1's for 650 shipped so that's what I probably do. I know what your talking about with they are almost the same price so you might as well get the stage 2's, but you have to upgrade the valve train to get full potential. Does anyone have numbers with the cams??

well, i used to have ITR cams. i sold them and put in my skunk stage 1's. i havent dyno'd yet, but there is ALOT more mid range and top end on these cams over my ITR's. You will definately feel the difference going from itr's to skunks. I did.

The stage 2 cam was designed for use with the single runner Skunk2 intake manifold. With these cams you will lose all of your low end and midrange horsepower, these are cams that strictly make maximum top end horsepower. Once you hit 6-7k, they pull hard all the way up after that....but until then, there's not much usable horsepower.

specs on stage 1 cams are supposedly alot more aggressive than the itr/ctr cams.
not a great deal more..but enough to know there's alot more power potential.
stage 2 cams are verrrrry identical to the jun 3's.
ask jeff from importbuilders.com ...
he did a test on the same car with a setup that would compliment the
stage 2's and the jun III's.
both performed identical in all areas of the powerband.
